The Desert Hot Springs Health and Wellness Center including the Boys & Girls Club/Aquatic Center Facility, located on the east side of Cholla, southerly of 4th, on Pierson Boulevard, was in the preliminary planning stages in the early 1990’s. It is now home to the most comprehensive preventive health care programs in the Coachella Valley plus houses the Boys & Girls Club. It is comprised of five main components: the health and wellness center; Boys & Girls clubhouse; 8,000 sq. ft. athletic center with a gymnasium; aquatic center; and learning center. The new Center provides increased recreational opportunities for youth and families as well as health education, fitness services, and chronic disease management and support.
MSA performed survey, utility, design development, final design engineering, environmental services, construction staking, and construction administration services for the new Center.
